Konica Minolta’s 3D Scanning Labs to Host 3D Technology Workshop in NY State

Ramsey, NJ, September 8, 2011

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. (KMSA), the worldwide leader in 3D scanning hardware and services announces its 3D Scanning Workshop series in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany in late September.

KMSA, a long time innovator of 3D non-contact scanners used for measuring the three-dimensional shape of objects, will be hosting the workshops which will feature discussions on reverse engineering, inspection, product design and rapid prototyping. Engineers will be available to answer application questions and provide individual project consultations. Registrants are encouraged to take advantage of the workshop exclusive offer whereby one sample part per company will be scanned free of charge.

The workshops will also offer 3D scanning hardware demonstrations of the Range 7, Vivid 9i, Hemispherical Surphaser, and ThreeRivers Vistruoso. Attendees will learn how 3D scanning can benefit their CAD/CAM, product design, quality control and rapid prototyping processes.
