10/22/2012: Konica Minolta Sensing Hosts Two Events to Learn About 3D Scanning

Ramsey, NJ, October 22, 2012

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, a long time innovator of 3D non-contact scanners used for measuring the three-dimensional shape of objects, will be hosting a 3D Scanning Workshop and Open House featuring discussions on reverse engineering, inspection, product design, and rapid prototyping.

The first of two events will take place at the New York Open Center in the Madison Square Park North Neighborhood in New York, NY. The event is expected to draw a large group of engineers, quality inspectors, designers and more. This workshop will help you understand the real potential of 3D laser scanning, its direct cost, and time implications for data collection, and how it can enhance the design process.

The Open House will be held at the company’s state-of-the-art scanning facility in Ramsey, NJ. Attendees will be able to tour the newly renovated facility and see the complete line of 3D equipment in action. Session topics will include 3D Scanning for product design, product testing using rapid prototypes, 3D inspection, face and body scanning, and large-scale 3D scanning.

As a seminar exclusive offer, attendees of both events are encouraged to bring samples that will be scanned free of charge. Engineers will be on-site to provide consultations and answer application questions.
