Ao inv\u00e9s disso, ela define um c\u00e1lculo para que as diferen\u00e7as calculadas pelos instrumentos se aproximem dos limites de percep\u00e7\u00e3o de cor do olho humano dentro do espa\u00e7o do CIE Lab (Espa\u00e7o de cor L*a*b*). \u00cdndices espec\u00edficos podem ser atribu\u00eddos \u00e0s diferen\u00e7as de luminosidade \u0394L*, satura\u00e7\u00e3o \u0394C*, e tonalidade \u0394H*, pelo uso dos coeficientes SL, SC e Sh respectivamente. Com o CIE2000, a diferen\u00e7a de cor \u0394E00 \u00e9 representada por uma elipse com o maior eixo na dire\u00e7\u00e3o da satura\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e9 a forma do limite de percep\u00e7\u00e3o do olho humano. Na regi\u00e3o com baixa satura\u00e7\u00e3o, o peso dos coeficientes SL, SC e Sh se aproximam respectivamente de 1, fazendo a elipse ficar mais circular.<\/p>\n<p>Na regi\u00e3o com maior satura\u00e7\u00e3o, o peso do coeficiente SC se torna maior, comparado com os coeficientes Sl e Sh alongando a elipse na dire\u00e7\u00e3o da satura\u00e7\u00e3o (menor sensibilidade pela diferen\u00e7a de satura\u00e7\u00e3o).<\/p>\n<p>Com a f\u00f3rmula de diferen\u00e7a de cor CIE 2000 o efeito do \u00e2ngulo de tonalidade tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 considerado. Como resultado a f\u00f3rmula abrange outra caracter\u00edstica dos limites de percep\u00e7\u00e3o do olho humano no CIE Lab (Espa\u00e7o de Cor L*a*b*): 4) Mudan\u00e7a de dire\u00e7\u00e3o na percep\u00e7\u00e3o de cor em \u00e2ngulos pr\u00f3ximos a 270 graus (azul) (desvio na dire\u00e7\u00e3o da
