Un estudio reciente ha revelado una posible explicaci\u00f3n porque las venas y algunos o lunares se ven azules. Anteriormente, las investigaciones suger\u00edan que se deb\u00eda al Efecto Tyndall. Este fen\u00f3meno se produce cuando la luz azul se dispersa m\u00e1s que otros colores como el rojo a medida que pasan por determinados gases y flujos. Este resultado resulta en un contenido visiblemente m\u00e1s azul. B\u00e1sicamente, en vez de mayor reflectancia azul, se habla de menor reflectancia roja.
