Esto puede llevar a confusiones en la terminolog\u00eda general de iluminaci\u00f3n. De hecho, dos de los t\u00e9rminos m\u00e1s usados, iluminancia y luminancia, son tambi\u00e9n los t\u00e9rminos que se confunden con mayor facilidad.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la diferencia entre \u201cluminancia\u201d e \u201ciluminancia\u201d?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luminancia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Luminancia describe la medici\u00f3n entre la cantidad de luz emitida, pasando por o reflejada desde una superficie particular desde un \u00e1ngulo s\u00f3lido. Tambi\u00e9n indica cu\u00e1nta energ\u00eda luminosa puede ser percibida por el ojo humano. Esto significa que la luminancia indica el brillo de la luz emitida o reflejada fuera de la superficie. En la industria de pantallas, la luminancia es usada para cuantificar el brillo de las pantallas.<\/p>\n<p>Existen diferentes unidades usadas para la luminancia. La unidad SI para luminancia es candela\/metros cuadrados (cd\/m2). En Estados Unidos, una de las unidades usadas com\u00fanmente es el foot-lambert (fL); 1 foot-lambert (fL) equivale a 1\/\u03c0 por candela\/metro cuadrado; o 3.426 cd\/m2. Nit es t\u00e9rmino no SI usado para luminancia y 1 nit equivale a 1 1 cd\/m2.<\/p>\n<p>La luminancia es cuantificada usando un <a href=\"\/mx\/technologies\/spectroradiometers\/\">espectro radi\u00f3metro<\/a>, un <a href=\"\/mx\/technologies\/luminance-meters\/\">medidor de luminancia<\/a> o un <a href=\"\/mx\/products\/medidor-de-cromaticidad-cl-200a\/\">medidor de color<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iluminancia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iluminancia es un t\u00e9rmino que describe la medici\u00f3n de la cantidad de luz cayendo (iluminando) y expandi\u00e9ndose en una superficie determinada. Iluminancia tambi\u00e9n se relaciona en c\u00f3mo las personas perciben el brillo de un \u00e1rea iluminada. Como resultado, la mayor\u00eda de la gente usa el t\u00e9rmino iluminancia y brillo en forma intercambiable lo que genera confusi\u00f3n, dado que el brillo tambi\u00e9n puede ser usado para describir luminancia.
