Konica Minolta Sensing Americas (KMSA), provider of advanced optical technology that precisely measures the elements of color and light, will exhibit at IFT 2015 Food Expo booth number 4545. IFT 15 will take place July 12 – July 14, 2015 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL.
This year at IFT Food Expo, Konica Minolta Sensing will showcase a variety of color measurement instruments including the CM-5 Spectrophotometer, CR-400 Chroma Meter and BC-10 Baking Meter. Also on display will be our advanced NC-1 Non-Contact In-Line Color Measurement System.
Our NC-1 In-Line System is an automated, non-contact color monitoring and control system built to measure the color of products continuously and accurately as they move down the production line. The high performance, high-speed measurement system minimizes downtime, rejects, and rework for manufacturers by notifying users in real-time when products are close to being out of specification or are completely out of specification. This allows the users to easily take action to help correct the problem to keep production on-time.
Dan Randall, Director of Sales, Color and Appearance at Konica Minolta Sensing explains, "NC-1 in-line color control provides the manufacturer with the unique opportunity to correct a color problem before it gets to the end of the production line. The NC-1 reads color at an extremely rapid rate, real-time, and without contact with the product. This real-time data becomes the trigger for process control, eliminating waste and improving product quality with real bottom-line savings to the plant."
Konica Minolta Sensing's measurement instruments are built with cutting edge technology and held to the strictest accuracy and quality. The BC-10 is a unique handheld colorimeter for simple measurement of the baking contrast in all kinds of bakery products including bread, buns, and cookies. Since the introduction of the first Chroma-Meters they have become a “defacto standard”, especially in the food and ingredients industry; the CR-400 Chroma Meter series can be used to measure solids, pastes, granules, powders and liquids. The CM-5 Spectrophotometer is an all in one system designed to have high precision when evaluating the color of opaque, transparent and translucent samples including solids, liquids, pastes, pills, powders and granules.
Konica Minolta color measurement experts will conduct demonstrations at booth #4545 throughout the show. The show hours at the McCormick Place South Center are Sunday, July 12th from 12pm-5pm, Monday, July 13th from 10am – 5pm and Tuesday, July 14th from 10am – 4pm.
