Instrument Systems Lumicam 1300 Photometer Video

Video: Instrument Systems LumiCam 1300 Photometer
Instrument Systems LumiCam 1300 imaging photometer and colorimeter was designed for the fast capture of photometric and colorimetric quantities with spatial resolution. Compared with measuring instruments without spatial resolutions, such as spectrometers, this technology offers substantial time-savings with simultaneous recordings and image-processing functions which permit automated methods of analysis. The LumiCam 1300 is the instruments of choice for complex measurements of luminance and color distribution. It will meet the sophisticated needs of those measuring panel graphics and control elements in the automotive and avionics industries as well as the measurement and analysis of flat panel displays and lamps.

New Coating Shows NASA that Nano is the New Black
New Coating Shows NASA that Nano is the New Black
Space exploration is about to take a quantum leap forward. How? Through innovations in nanotechnology. The new super-black nanotechnology that has got the astrophysical world talking is a thin exceptionally uniform coating of multi-walled nanotubes. These nanotubes are made of pure carbon and are roughly 10,000 times thinner than a strand of human hair. Read more >

Blog: LED Lighting Shows Sports Venues a Better Way to Play Ball
The next time you’re taking your seventh inning stretch take a glance at the bright lights making the game possible. Considering how essential good lighting is for athletes and officials it’s surprising that sports venues are among the last to embrace LED lighting technology. Recent studies have shown that stadiums that switch to LED fixtures are more efficient and provide superior illumination for fans, athletes and officials for an overall better experience. Read more >

CA-310 Display Color Analyzer

CA-310 Display Color Analyzer

Building on the benefits offered by the Display Color Analyzer CA-210, the CA-310 offers even higher accuracy when measuring the LED-backlit LCD TVs which are becoming more and more popular. Although conventional backlights such as fluorescent lamps provide relatively uniform light, the spectral emission distribution of LEDs varies slightly with each unit. The CA-310 overcomes this problem with color sensors that more closely match the CIE 1931 color-matching functions, offering higher measurement accuracy while providing high measurement speed even at low luminances.
