CM-2500c Spectrophotometer
The CM-2500c handheld spectrophotometer is a high-accuracy color measuring instrument which is easily operated with one hand. The light-weight design (just 670g) is perfectly suited for any application in the laboratory, plant, or field. Taking measurements horizontally or vertically is both easy and fatigue-free. The compact size and easy-to-align opening allows you to measure samples of any shape or size.
The CM-2500c is best suited for color measurement of samples such as automotive interior parts, coil coatings, plastics, paint, packaging, and raw materials. The color of any uneven surfaces can be easily measured using this device since it has an innovative optical system. The CM-2500c incorporates 45/0 geometry optics, 360-740 nm wavelength range, and 10 nm resolution. Its optical design assures maximum reproducibility and stability of measurement during use. It also minimizes data fluctuation during repeated color measurements and improves the accuracy of the output.
It’s exclusive “navigation wheel” and one-press measuring button are situated right where your hand fits the device. The navigation wheel easily guides you through all the menu operations. It is used like a PC mouse, moving it forward or backward to scroll through the selections and pressing it down to click on the selection. The large LCD display shows data graphically or numerically such as facts about your colors via pass/fail displays, color graphs and data display, spectral graphs, and absolute and color difference. The internal software contains all necessary colorimetric equations and standard light sources to complete your tasks as well as numerous industry and application-specific indices.
The internal software communicates in six languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese. And, it reminds you of when it is time for a factory re-calibration to ensure traceability to ISO 9000 recommendations.
The CM-2500c can be powered by batteries for complete portability or it can be connected to an AC adapter. Optional SpectraMagictm NX color data software is a complete quality control and color management system, which allows you to configure the graphic and numerical layout according to your needs. The software performs evaluations from ultra-simple pass/fail assessments to more sophisticated analysis with spectral, color, and trend graphs. It can also assist you in improving color communication with your customer and suppliers by allowing you to insert digital pictures in printed reports.
