The CS-2000A is a highly accurate spectroradiometer with the ability to measure ultra low luminances, as low as 0.0005 cd/m2, and contrast levels of 1,000,000:1. To achieve this, the instrument uses technology to reduce sensor signal noise, a measurement angle of 1°, and by maintaining less than 5nm half bandwidth.

CS-S10w Professional Data Management Software is included as a standard accessory, enabling highly accurate measurement visualization and management. Acceptance judgments based on the dominant wavelength can be completed with this software.

The CS-2000A features a measurement angle switching function which allows the user to select a specified measurement angle of 0.1°, 0.2°, or 1° depending upon the application. This enables a standard minimum measuring diameter of 0.5mm. A close-up lens (optional accessory) can be purchased to measure areas as small as 0.1mm. This enables the instrument to measure general displays and quick and stable luminosity and chromaticity measurements of ultra-small areas such as automotive or aircraft instrument panels and audio systems.

By attaching a diffuser adapter for illuminance measurement (optional accessory) enables the CS-2000A to accurately perform spectroscopic measurements of illuminance and chromaticity of irradiated light.
