ISO 17025 Certification

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. is pleased to be able to offer ISO 17025 calibration on request for instruments in our Color and Appearance Measurement, Light and Display Measurement division, and Instrument Systems divisions.

ISO/IEC 17025 enables an organization to demonstrate that they operate competently and generate valid results, thereby promoting confidence in their work both nationally and around the world. It also helps facilitate cooperation between laboratories and other bodies by generating wider acceptance of results between countries. Test reports and certificates can be accepted from one country to another without the need for further testing, which, in turn, improves international trade.

At Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, there are two main differences between our standard factory calibration and the optional ISO-17025 calibration & certification. The first difference is all calibration standards & tools associated with the ISO-17025 calibration process are certified by ISO-17025 accredited metrology labs. The second difference is a statement of uncertainty is included in our calibration certificate. This provides to the customer a higher degree of certainty of how much the reported calibration data of the device tested can vary from the known true value of the calibration standard measured.
