CS-200 Color and Luminance Meter

The CS-200 is designed to measure both luminance and chromaticity with high accuracy. It is a low cost option that is easy to use and features a new auto mode for determining measurement speed according the luminance of the subject being measured.

It can measure any light source over a wide range of luminance levels from 0.01 cd/m2 to 20,000,000 cd/m2. The selectable measuring angle feature enables the user to select the optimum angle of 1°, 0.2°, or 0.1° based on the application.

The CS-200 is lightweight and battery powered for optimum portability. Data management software CS-S10w is included as a standard accessory. The software enables the user to easily view and manage measurement data. Up to 101 measurement values can be stored in addition to 20 reference values.

Operating temperature/humidity range 0°C to 40°, relative humidity 85% or less (at 35°) with no condensation
Storage temperature /humidity range 0°Cto 45°C,relative humidity 85% or less (at 35°C)with no condensation
*1 23°C+-2°C Lv = 0.01-10 cd/m², SLOW, average of 30 measurements Lv = 10 cd/m² and higher, SLOW, average of 10 measurements
*2 At 0.2°measuring angle, the amount of received light is approx. 1/25 of that for 1°.
Therefore, the repeatability becomes the same as that for 1 degwith 25 times lower luminance.
At 0.1°measuring angle, the amount of received light is approx. 1/100 of that for 1°.
Therefore, the repeatability becomes the same as that for 1 degwith 100 times lower luminance.
